Moderate difficulty hikes for people new to MTN KDS.About this experience
Due to many requests about hikes/events for people brand new to MTN KDS. Here are 5 hiking meet ups in the coming month for people who have been to 3 or less MTN KDS events! Of course you can still come to socialize if you want.
Monday September 8th at 6:15 PM we will do a sunset hike up to Independence MTN in Evergreen, CO. This is rated an Moderate hike about 3.2 miles out and back. 900 elevation gain. Hosted by Jeff Bowman.
Thursday September 18th at 5:45 PM we will be doing a hard hike to the Royal arch in Boulderz This hike is approx 4 miles out and back.1200 elevation gain. Hosted by Jeff Bowman.
Tuesday September 23rd at 6:00 PM we will be doing a moderate hike to watch the sunset on Chief MTN in Idaho Springs. This hike is approx 3.5 miles out and back. 950 elevation gain. Hosted by Jeff Bowman.
Wednesday October 1st at 5:45 PM we will be doing a moderate hike in Golden up chimney gulch to mt Zion. This hike is approx 5.5 miles out and back. 1,100 elevation gain. Hosted by Jeff Bowman.
Make sure to leave your Instagram/email as we will send out the exact trail and directions via IG Direct Message group. If you don't have Instagram we will email you details the day before. Hike is subject to change/cancellation due to trail conditions/weather so be sure to check for a DM/email the day before. Message us on Instagram with any questions.
FYI, we will now be charging a small fee to cut down on no shows and last second cancellations.
